Women's Mentoring

One of the most popular ministries at Lakeview Church is the women’s mentoring program.  These intimate, small groups meet throughout the year; once in the fall and again in the spring.  These “Home Bible Studies” usually last 6 – 8 weeks.  The groups are led by women who have themselves been mentored by Pastor Lynnette Chapman.  Each semester a best-selling Christian book is chosen and used as a basis for the curriculum.  Each book is carefully selected for its ability to equip women for a more fulfilled and rewarding life.

Many women say they enjoy the friendships, the fellowship and relevant teaching; they say they have grown in spiritual maturity, in their knowledge of God’s Word and in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  If you want to join others who will grow with you in your spiritual journey, then consider sighing up for Lakeview Women’s Mentoring.

Small Groups

In our busy world today, the concept of community has almost been lost.  People have lots of acquaintances, but not many close friends.  That's why belonging to a small group is so important.  They help growing Christians connect with other growing Christians.

The Bible calls this fellowship.  Real fellowship is not about just going...
  • Small Groups meet in eight week sessions - four times a year.
  • The number of members usually varies from 12 - 25.
  • In the five week interval between group sessions we have regular church services on Wednesday nights.
  • Small Groups offer life-changing topics, the opportunity to develop close friendships and the flexibility of meeting on campus or in individual homes.
  • Childcare is provided at the church.
  • Check the “Newsflash” on the "home" page for current information.

For many, the groups become a hub for living the Christian life. Participation is high and we encourage every new member to consider becoming a part of a Small Group.
